I hope you are finding something good to do with this time. Wednesday, I spent time with one of our consulting clients going over a treatment plan that he is doing. It was a good break for the doctor and a good break for me.
It’s important to stay in touch with your patients. They are sitting around, and it’s the perfect opportunity to connect with them. If you have an email service already, then you’re more than half way there. And if you don’t, you can sign up with Constant Contact, upload your entire email list there, and send a group message, just as you saw in one of the previous email updates.
Here’s today’s email to our patients: https://conta.cc/2Jf4MH1 You’ll notice something new. It’s video. I used my webcam. The video quality is better if you use your smartphone. Create the video, send it to YouTube, and you’ve got it. Now’s a great time to practice your video skills if you’re a little camera shy. And your patients will love it.
Today (Thursday) at 1:00 PM Eastern. Danyel and I will join Dr. Robert Pick, a periodontist in Chicago, to see what he is doing in the wake of this event. If you want to attend, here’s the link: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_an-hcLLMS7KbK9zTvVy8Ow

Please take some time to sit back and see what you may be able to add to your practice. https://youtu.be/CEuc7F5Cc3A
I’ve found a podcast that is giving me some good information from what I feel to be a very common sense indivdual. It’s Scott Adams, the author and creator of Dilbert. Lately, he has had two daily podcasts. Try one and see if you like it. https://www.scottadamssays.com/
Finally, if you are using “coronavirus” or “COVID-19” in your emails, Google is screening them. They may be treated as Spam and not get into your addressee’s inbox. So, it’s best that you keep those names out of your title. Notice that we’ve changed the Member Advisory to reflect that.
